Retail Operations Role Overview

Cater Care Services seeks a dedicated Retail Operations Specialist to coordinate and administer CCS's retail business. This national role involves working closely with General Managers, Operations, and Site Managers across CCS sites nationally.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in Food & Beverage or large Convenience store multi-site retail operations, strong analytical skills, and intermediate knowledge of POS systems. They will also possess excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to travel interstate regularly to remote locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in day-to-day retail operational activities and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate the transformation and implementation of retail and bar outlets to align with brand standards.
  • Oversee POS system optimization and maintain data accuracy.
  • Compile periodic activity reports with KPIs and data analytics.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and consumer preferences to adjust product ranges.
  • Conduct regular audits for compliance and coordinate necessary licenses.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Undertake sales and margin analysis and develop standard retail performance reports.
  • Manage product and pricing, including obtaining approvals and making financial recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Significant experience in Food & Beverage or large Convenience store multi-site retail operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and intermediate knowledge of POS systems, Google Suite, or Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in retail stores and head office environments, with a focus on project contribution or coordination.
  • Willingness to learn, a process improvement mindset, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel interstate regularly to remote locations.
  • Exhibit integrity, accountability and have an innovative mindset.
  • Must be able to obtain a National police clearance, meet OH&S medical examination requirements, and hold a valid C-class driver's license.
