Job Title: Collection Operator
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Collection Operator to operate a side lift collection vehicle for municipal contracts. This role involves loading and unloading waste from vehicles, delivering waste to designated facilities, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Loading and unloading waste from vehicles efficiently and safely
- Delivering waste to nominated recycling and disposal facilities in a timely manner
- Maintaining the presentation of the vehicle, both inside and out
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- A valid HR license with at least 2 years' experience or equivalent side lift experience
- A strong work background in waste management is highly desirable
- Ability to undergo pre-employment medical testing, drug screening, and alcohol testing
- Availability for an early morning start
- A clean driving record
