About the Role: We are seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to contribute to public safety and amenity through weekend parking patrols. You will engage with the community, address concerns, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with legislation through education, enforcement, and collaboration with internal and external departments and other agencies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct parking patrols over weekends to ensure compliance with parking regulations
  • Engage with the community, address concerns, and provide guidance on parking matters
  • Collaborate with internal and external departments and other agencies to ensure effective parking management
  • Report damage to parking equipment, parking signs, and other road infrastructure issues
  • Supervise school crossings when required

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Possess relevant qualification in an enforcement discipline or have equivalent experience
  • Have sound knowledge of Victorian Road Safety Road Rules 2017
  • Demonstrate significant experience in a high-pressure customer service environment
  • Show strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Evidence resilience and diplomacy in challenging interactions
  • Able to make sound judgement, assess safety risk, and interpret parking regulations

Mandatory Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo a satisfactory criminal history check
  • Ability to provide or obtain employment-based Working with Children check
  • Preparedness to undertake a pre-medical assessment check
  • Holding a Full Victorian Driving Licence
