Trade Compliance Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Specialist to join their Global Trade Compliance team. This team provides leadership and direction for the development, administration, and enforcement of policies related to global trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support regional brokers and freight forwarders to resolve import/export delays and implement change management strategies.
  • Act as a liaison for import and export activities to ensure timely delivery and minimize disruptions.
  • Provide expert guidance on tariff classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determinations to optimize trade operations.
  • Manage customs brokers and reporting activities across regions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support export and import operations at regional centers and warehouses to maintain efficient supply chain management.
  • Review and submit broker bills for payment to ensure accurate invoicing and financial reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of global trade compliance regulations and ability to apply knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
