**About the Role**:

This position is part of a multidisciplinary site-based team at a 385 MW gas-fired power station west of Brisbane.

The successful applicant will perform various tasks including plant maintenance, modification, overhauls, plant inspections and related duties on all plant and equipment to meet production and maintenance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and repair of electrical equipment
  • Plant inspections and troubleshooting
  • Collaboration with other teams to ensure safe and efficient operations

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Recognised trade certificate (electrical) and Queensland Electrical Workers License or equivalent
  • Current manual driver's license (c class)
  • Previous maintenance experience in power stations/heavy industries with exposure to high voltage switching and maintenance
  • Certificate III and experience in Instrumentation and Control highly regarded
