Industrial Electrical Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled industrial electrical specialist to join our team at a leading cement production facility. As an Industrial Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the plant's electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine electrical maintenance and servicing tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal plant performance
  • Install and commission new electrical equipment and systems
  • Conduct thorough fault analysis and troubleshooting to quickly resolve electrical issues
  • Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance programs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless plant operations
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and provide regular reporting to management

Requirements:

  • Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence
  • EWP licence above 11m (preferable)
  • Substantial experience as a plant/industrial electrician
  • Experience in instrumentation and control systems (preferable)
  • Background in working within continuous manufacturing environments (preferable)
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and fault finding techniques (preferable)
  • Ability to perform high voltage switching (preferable)
