Job Title:

Electrical and Instrumentation Lead

The successful candidate will lead a team of electrical and instrumentation specialists to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities at the refinery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Participate in planning, scheduling, and coordination of preventative and non-routine maintenance activities;
  • Ensure duties are performed in accordance with established safety protocols and programs;
  • Deliver against contract key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives;
  • Foster a collaborative culture and lead the workforce to support delivery of strategic objectives;
  • Manage specialist contractors to deliver maintenance plans;
  • Prioritize work and meet deadlines;
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognised trade certificate and QLD Electrical trade licence (Electrical Mechanic, Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, Instrumentation);
  • Dual trade qualification in electrical/instrumentation, Cert III in Instrument and Control or Cert IV in Electrical - Instrumentation;
  • Cert IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA), working knowledge of SAP;
  • LVR/CPR, high voltage switching operations (desirable), working at heights and high risk EWP license (desirable).
