As a leader in healthcare delivery, we are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team.

  • Fixed term, Part-time (0.8 EFT / 64hrs)
  • Based at Adult Inpatient Units or Community Care Units, or Aged Mental Health Services
  • Registered Nurse Grade 2 (Pending experience)
  • This role offers the opportunity to transition from General Nursing to Mental Health with support
  • Supportive multi-disciplinary team environment

About this Opportunity

Our Switch transition program provides all the necessary training and experience for you to transition into this new role.

Key skills in risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning and knowledge of Mental Health nursing care and practice will be developed during this introductory role in mental health.

The ideal candidate will possess well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively consult, liaise and negotiate with consumers, carers, family members, and other professionals.

We require a high performer who is consumer focused, a team player, and is motivated and enthusiastic.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a Background Check and have Australian working rights (Visa holders, please upload your visa and passport with your application).
