About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental strategies and programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site operations teams to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and report on key health, safety, and environmental metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a health and safety related discipline.
  • Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
