Job Description:

Holiday Haven is seeking a Grounds and Amenities Staff Member to join our team on a casual basis.

This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming park environment for all guests.

The ideal candidate will have experience in groundskeeping, cleaning or maintenance roles and be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending and working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all park amenities, including restrooms, showers and the camp kitchen.
  • BBQ and Common Area Maintenance: Regularly clean and check BBQs, picnic areas and common spaces to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Waste Management: Empty bins around the park and ensure proper waste disposal practices.
  • Housekeeping Support: Assist with the housekeeping team as needed, ensuring all accommodation areas are clean and guest ready.
  • Groundskeeping: Mow lawns, trim hedges, water plants and maintain garden beds to keep park grounds neat and attractive.
  • General Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, to keep facilities in top condition.
  • Guest Support: Respond to guest inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, school holidays and public holidays, is required.
