About the role and the opportunity

Are you ready for a new challenge in your logistics career? We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination.

The position involves planning and arranging/directing export sea & air projects by compiling, completing and verifying the necessary documents according to company policy and procedure.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Take bookings and liaise with customers when organising required transport
  • Assist in the development and expansion of customer relationships, client base and client retention
  • Work together with Export team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered
  • Ability to problem solve Export issues
  • Enter data into CargoWise One
  • Ability to problem solve Export issues with a range of stakeholders including airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders and customers
  • Take action to help support and manage processes within the department to meet Export KPIs

Requirements and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years experience within Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Minimum Knowledge and experience in Export Sea & Air freight is essential
  • Experience with FAK
  • Knowledge and experience working in CW1
  • Strong professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent team player and the ability to build strong relationships
