Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to fill this key role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to mental health related enquiries and provide triage services for individuals requiring acute interventions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of an individual's mental state using a systematic approach.
  • Observe and describe an individual's psychological functioning during assessment.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in mental health or a related field and current registration with the relevant authority.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in acute mental health settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contemporary clinical practice, including conducting assessments and providing evidence-based interventions.

Further Requirements:

  • Understanding of relevant legislation and national mental health initiatives.
  • Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles.
  • High-level communication skills and ability to engage with clients, families, and carers.
  • Current drivers' license and willingness to travel, potentially involving long distances.
