About the Role
The UNSW School of Chemical Engineering is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our Process Control Group. This exciting opportunity will enable you to contribute to cutting-edge research on an ARC Discovery Project, developing innovative solutions for big data-based industrial process control.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will work closely with our team to undertake research on control theory and machine learning techniques. Your primary focus will be on project DP250101137, where you will apply your expertise in nonlinear control and stochastic systems theory.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in Engineering or Mathematics
- Demonstrated skills and experience in process control and modern control theories
- An ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision
- A track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
