Job Description

Sydney is offering a permanent, full-time opportunity in a hybrid working environment - 3 days in office. This role is part of the Group Reporting and Analytics team (GR&A), Finance department.

In the Process, Controls and Change team, you will maintain a strong and efficient control environment through adherence to policies, processes, and standards as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing & maintaining a framework that sets out key principles & standards for Group Reporting & Analytics
  • Strengthening the control framework and enhancing reporting governance
  • Actively translating & providing guidance regarding compliance with policies for the returns prepared by Group Reporting Analytics
  • Leveraging process maps, standard operating procedures and reporting frameworks to enhance financial and regulatory reporting processes
  • Providing governance & oversight in relation to report controls and issue & incident management
  • Providing governance, oversight and verification of regulatory returns and Financial Statement disclosures owned by Group Reporting & Analytics
  • Supporting enhancement and remediation of risk reporting and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the reporting and control environment
  • Risk assessing reports and recommending prioritisation of report remediation
  • Providing expert knowledge and collaborating with the Group Reporting & Analytics teams to design and build dashboards/reports/papers for senior management
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt quickly to change. Experience in finance, accounting or a related field is desirable.
