We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fugal Operator to join our team. As a Fugal Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sugar and molasses while ensuring minimal disruption to operations and product loss.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality sugar and molasses by operating and maintaining fugal equipment
  • Collaborate with the Mill management, Pan Boilers, and Shift Team to ensure seamless operations
  • Sample, inspect, and analyze sugar and molasses streams to ensure quality and consistency
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping practices around the fugal station to ensure a safe work environment
  • Perform regular inspections of plant and equipment, and complete maintenance requests as required
  • Complete logbooks, charts, and other data collection tasks as required by management

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and basic maintenance skills
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry licenses highly desirable
  • Maintenance skills such as Trade qualifications, Rigger, Dogger, and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences highly desirable
