About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Centre Manager to lead our Early Learning Centre in Yanchep Vertex. As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, leading and mentoring a diverse team of educators, and ensuring the highest quality of care, education, and customer service is delivered to families and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of a 94-place Early Childhood Centre.
  2. Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of teachers, educators, food coordinators, and trainees.
  3. Cultivate a positive and collaborative team culture, where professional growth and a shared passion for excellence thrive.
  4. Ensure the highest quality of care, education, and customer service is delivered to families and the community.
  5. Manage rosters and wage submissions efficiently.
  6. Guide and mentor your team to reach their performance goals, while fostering their professional development.
  7. Engage with the local community to build lasting relationships and to drive brand awareness and new enrolments.
  8. Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations, while upholding a strong focus on child safety and education quality.
  9. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and other key pedagogies.
About You

You will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to mentor, lead, and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Diploma in ECE (or equivalent) or Bachelor of ECE.
  • All relevant certifications and checks to ensure child safety.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, defuse challenging situations, and foster a culture of trust and support.
  • A proactive attitude, ready to excel under pressure and embrace challenges in a fast-paced, changing environment.
