The Role

We seek Registrars with a career interest in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care to join our ICU team. This dynamic role offers a balance between lifestyle and flexible roster patterns.

Successful applicants will benefit from comprehensive training opportunities on campus for both Anaesthetics and Intensive Care, working directly with the Intensivists managing the ICU and leading the CERS team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced training in intensive care via the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) accreditation program
  • Exposure to a diverse range of surgical cases, including complex head and neck procedures
  • Supernumerary experience in anaesthetics for 8 weeks
  • AHPRA registration without any limitations
  • Minimum PGY4 level by commencement of 2025
  • Recent ICU experience is highly valued
  • Enthusiasm to participate in clinical and academic activities within the department
  • Advanced life support training is also essential
