The RoleMQ Health is seeking two Unaccredited Medical Registrars (PGY3 or higher / RACP members) to join our Doctors in Training Program.
The role involves providing consultation and supervision to junior medical staff on a week-on week-off roster.
During weekdays, the role will support junior staff in managing complex medical scenarios with advice and occasional reviews.
After hours and weekends, ward-based duties are included.
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to:Be assigned to experienced RACP examiners each term to support exam preparation.Connect with study groups outside MQ Health for RACP exam prep.Attend practice RACP exams and clinical prep at other NSW hospitals.Attend specialty and subspecialty clinics based on interests.Work with leaders in subspecialties like Oncology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Geriatrics, and more.Develop valuable connections to assist career progressionAccess the Clinical Trials Unit via research leaders at Macquarie University.Opportunities to publish research articles with renowned leaders.Explore avenues to advance academic careers at Macquarie University.Contribute to educational activities with MQ Health.Medical Subspecialties at MQ Health include:Cardiology, including Electrophysiology, Advanced interventional Cardiology (TAVI), Structural Heart, Pulmonary Hypertension.Oncology.Respiratory Medicine, including Interventional Pulmonology, Bronchiectasis, Interstitial Lung Disease, Airways disease.Neurology, including motor neuron diseases.Nephrology.Endocrinology.Gastroenterology.Rheumatology and ImmunologySupport will be tailored to help pass the FRACP exams, including exam preparation, clinical readiness, and networking opportunities for subspecialty entry and research involvement.About YouYou will be an enthusiastic doctor committed to clinical care, education, and research, aiming to obtain your RACP fellowship.
