  • Lead day-to-day operations of the facility in producing and distributing quality fibreglass swimming pools.
  • Manage the facility team, their activities and maintain a safety-first culture.
  • Investigate, analyze and solve problems to improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Partner with Facility Manager and National Managers to implement initiatives across the facility.
  • Build relationships with franchisees to manage pool deliveries.
  • Maintain high levels of quality in supplied pools.
  • Work with Inventory team to maintain accurate records and ensure resources are available for production.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes with national and site teams.
  • Implement improvement projects spanning Safety, Process, Quality, People, Cost.
About You:
  • 5 years' experience in team leadership and management.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • Personal effectiveness/interaction – Self manages and demonstrates diplomacy when dealing with difficult people or colleagues from diverse cultures.
  • Problem solving skills, demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a sense of urgency.
  • Coping and time management skills – ability to manage high workload under pressure and time constraints.
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge Manufacturing Systems. Have strong experience with transport and logistics with a successful track record of meeting distribution targets.
  • Have a proven track record of hiring, training and developing a team to deliver results.
