About the Role

As Operations Manager for Queensland, you'll be responsible for day-to-day operational oversight across our QLD retail stores, warehousing, service teams and trade sales. You'll lead and support local teams while ensuring high service standards, compliance, logistics, and performance — all while keeping a close eye on efficiency and customer experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who is comfortable managing people and processes and rolling up their sleeves when needed.

Your Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support daily operations across QLD retail, warehouse, and service teams

Coach and lead store and service managers to achieve business targets

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions

Monitor stock flow, logistics and service delivery performance

Ensure compliance with safety, policy, and quality standards

Work closely with the national leadership team to align on growth strategy and reporting

Lead local recruitment, onboarding and team development

Foster a culture of accountability, communication and continuous improvement

About You

Proven leadership experience in a retail, service, or operational role

Strong understanding of inventory, logistics, and team management

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills

Confident using systems and data to make decisions

Proactive, organised and not afraid to get hands-on

Experience in the pool, hardware, or trade-related industry is a bonus

Valid driver's licence (occasional site visits and travel required)
