Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Assistant to work in our medical imaging team. This role will provide invaluable support, ensuring patients receive high-quality radiology services.

  • Provide assistance to medical imaging staff and pathology service providers, including processing medical images, obtaining blood results and assisting patients in preparing for appointments.
  • Ensure facilities and imaging equipment within the clinic are at a high level of cleanliness.
  • Collect, package and store infectious waste/sharps and used developing/fixing solutions in accordance with national standards and company policies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

You will have:

  • A proven ability to work as a highly effective team member and take initiative to anticipate the needs of the medical imaging team.
  • The ability to ensure privacy, dignity and confidentiality of patients are maintained at all times.
  • Sound computer skills including word processing (Experience with Radiology Software is highly desirable).
  • Previous experience and understanding of a radiology or medical practice (highly regarded).
  • Experience with cannulation is desirable.
