Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist to join our team at the Queensland Children's Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering quality patient care and be committed to providing life-changing healthcare for children and young people.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care and assist in the provision of an efficient and effective medical imaging service.

  • Provide clinical support services delegated by and under the supervision of radiographers and sonographers.
  • Undertake a range of activities to assist in the provision of an efficient and effective medical imaging service.

You will work as part of a dedicated network of paediatric services available at other Brisbane and Queensland hospitals, supporting regional hospitals through telemedicine and outreach services.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will provide clinical support to radiographers and sonographers, undertaking various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the medical imaging service. This includes:

  • Assisting with patient preparation and positioning for imaging procedures;
  • Providing administrative support to the medical imaging team;
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient information and imaging procedures.

You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through training and professional development programs.
