Job Description

As a seasoned civil engineer, you will be responsible for applying essential engineering expertise to diverse projects. Your day-to-day tasks will be varied and offer valuable experience.

You will work as part of a team, with guidance from senior engineers and support from specialist designers and technical leads, to ensure that all projects are completed according to relevant standards, specifications, and drawings.

Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality outcomes to clients, requiring a sound knowledge of civil engineering and construction processes.

We have a strong focus on learning, personal development, and training. Our seniors are hands-on, but also provide opportunities for employees to gain more responsibility and autonomy over their work.

  • Perform design and project management tasks for land development and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and update civil engineering documentation, including design reports, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Apply civil engineering knowledge to various works, including engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Perform site supervision and quality control inspections of civil infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Assist in reviewing engineering drawings and submittals, respond to requests for information, and prepare site observation reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in civil engineering, project management, and/or site supervision.
  • Membership or eligibility in professional associations such as Engineers Australia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in interpreting legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in time management and organisational skills.
