Stantec are seeking a talented Civil Designer/Drafter to join our Buildings Civil team based in Sydney.

What does a Civil Designer in Buildings do?

  • Complete drawings and 3d models using standard methods and techniques

  • Complete drafting documentation in accordance with procedures

  • Operate CAD and other drafting/design computer programs, specifically Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3d

  • Collaborate with other disciplines with the use of BIM tools such as Revizto , Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud

  • Undertaking designs and drawings to relevant authority and local government standards

  • Fulfil administrative requirements for the project as required by the Project Manager

About You

  • Diploma of Civil Construction Design and/or Diploma of Engineering – Technical and/ or
  • Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Certificate in Civil 3d Computer Aided Design or relevant experience
  • Passion for learning and problem-solving
  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation
