About this role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Maintain accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accept shifts based on availability">
  3. Provide holistic care to residents under the supervision of registered nurses">
  4. Accurately document resident care and adhere to health service guidelines">
  5. Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff">
  6. Assist with meals and food services while providing resident-focused service">
  7. Function effectively within a team and participate in annual performance reviews">
  8. Commit to ongoing mandatory education">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Successful completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support or relevant equivalent">
  • Current HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Handling Practices certificate or willingness to obtain">
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain">
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain">
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential">

  2. HAVE YOU COMPLETED A CERTIFICATE III IN INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT OR EQUIVALENT?">
  3. Have you completed the unit HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medications or equivalent?">
  4. Have you completed HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices in the past 12 months?">
  5. Please detail your current availability and how many shifts per week you can commit to?">
  6. Describe your previous experience relevant to the Personal Care Worker position?">
  7. Tell us about something you've done to encourage a peer/coworker to take responsibility for improving their own work standards?">
