About the Role

This Retail Team Lead position plays a critical role in the success of our store, reporting directly to the Store Manager. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and maintain excellent customer service standards.

Job Description

As a Retail Team Lead, you will be accountable for:

  • Leading by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and promoting a positive work environment;
  • Maintaining stock management, visual merchandising, and safety standards to ensure a clean and welcoming store;
  • Coaching and developing your team members to meet individual and team performance goals;
  • Driving sales growth through effective inventory management and promotional activities;
  • Providing exceptional customer experiences through proactive problem-solving and resolving issues efficiently;
  • Fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the store team and among customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with customers and colleagues;
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive approach to addressing issues;
  • A strong understanding of customer needs and preferences, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences;
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
