Retail Delivery Specialist Role

The position of Retail Delivery Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods throughout Victoria.

  • Transportation of goods across Melbourne, involving regular commutes between Distribution Centres, Retail stores and Head Office
  • Adherence to predetermined routes, pick up and drop off schedules
  • Secure loading and unloading of goods, with a focus on caution and attention to detail
  • Verification of key details and accurate completion of receipt and collection tracking processes
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong emphasis on building relationships
  • Effective communication with all key personnel
  • Maintenance of vehicle and management of mileage and log records

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Accurate and efficient pick, pack, wrap and dispatch of goods across various channels. Efficient receipt, processing and storage of goods across shipments, returns and repairs. Support undertaking regular stock counts, replenishment and maintenance of pick faces and consumables. Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for yourself and your team.

Requirements:

  • Current, Full Victorian Driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive a Manual Van will be highly regarded
  • At least 3 years' experience driving a light vehicle on Melbourne roads
  • Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
  • Solid reputation of reliable delivery/collection service provision
  • Ability to use a Phone and Navigation Systems
  • Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods (up to 16kg and prolonged periods of driving
  • Ability to manage challenges and adapt to changing schedules and requirements
  • Willingness to assist in Distribution Centre when required
  • Forklift License highly regarded
