Life Enrichment Professional

Leverage your passion for helping others to create a positive impact in the lives of our residents. As a Life Enrichment Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing their well-being and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to establish meaningful relationships with residents and their families, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities.
  • Assist in the design, delivery, and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activities.
  • Implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and their families.
  • Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips and meal services.
  • Support colleagues and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  • Reliable teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents.
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
