Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Director to lead the acquisition and execution of complex projects.

This individual will join our Management Team, providing strategic leadership and ensuring the planning, execution, integration, and delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project planning and scheduling
  • Team management and leadership
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Risk management and mitigation
  • Quality assurance and control

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex, high-value programs with multiple subcontractors and international supply chains.

A strong background in project management frameworks and defence standards is essential for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

  • At least 10 years' experience in project management
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Experience working with primes and CASG
  • Sub-contractor management skills
  • Knowledge of PM frameworks and defence standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and management abilities
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Current NV1 AGSVA issued clearance as a minimum
