Position Overview

As a Supervisor at our Recycling Centre, you will be instrumental in managing the daily operations of our depot. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Leading and mentoring a dedicated team, providing continuous support and guidance
  • Maximizing operational efficiency and processing capacity through effective team management
  • Overseeing all workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols and enhancements
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Engaging with the team on the ground during peak operational periods
  • Ensuring a professional and tidy environment for both staff and customers
  • Collaborating with technicians to resolve reverse vending machine issues
  • Adhering to TOMRA's safety standards and guidelines

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be committed to the success of the organization while pursuing personal and professional growth. Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
  • Preferred tertiary qualification in Frontline Management or an equivalent field
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to inspire and support team members through ongoing development
  • Forklift license is advantageous
  • Customer-oriented with experience in managing customer feedback
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management abilities
  • A motivated individual with a drive for personal achievement
  • Willingness to undergo a mandatory Police Check and a Pre-employment Medical assessment to ensure the ability to perform the role safely.
