Job Responsibilities

As a Landscape Maintenance Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  1. Working on iconic sites, including commercial and residential properties.
  2. Performing specialized maintenance work, including mowing, pruning, and planting.
  3. Operating zero-turn ride-on equipment and using hand tools to maintain outdoor spaces.
  4. Assisting with variations-based landscape work, including design and installation.
  5. Working with a team to achieve high-quality results.
  6. Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients.
  7. Assisting with sports turf management and greens work, including maintenance and upkeep.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Professionalism: A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  2. Effective skills: In planning, organizing, and problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Previous Experience: In the landscape industry is preferable, but not essential.
  4. Proven Leadership Skills: And the ability to motivate others to achieve high-quality results.
  5. A current driver's license and own transport (or ability to get to site).
  6. A National Police Check or be willing to obtain at our expense.
  7. A Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain.
