About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Sourcing Manager at Accommodations Plus International. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process on behalf of our airline clients with hotel partners in assigned markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage hotel sourcing projects for our clients, performing market research for accommodation and ground transportation, and developing industry knowledge.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate with hotels and ground transportation providers, and produce evaluation and recommendation presentations.
  • Manage the Request for Proposal/Request for Information process, assessing suppliers against set requirements, and negotiating hotel offers, concessions, and contract terms.
  • Work with Account Managers to build sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for reverse auctions, and expedite sourcings.
  • Research, analyze, and apply market trends and conditions to develop fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies and secure the best possible outcomes for airline and hotel partners.
  • Create high-quality evaluation reports and presentations, including proposal analysis and identified market trends, within established deadlines.
  • Communicate sourcing results clearly and effectively, adapting to changing dynamics and unforeseen situations.
  • Proactively approach each project with the goal of achieving a win-win solution.
  • Update and track all information in Salesforce, and arrange site inspections for Account Managers and API clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two to three years' experience in a procurement role, with at least two years in a global role dealing with global suppliers and global supply markets.
  • Minimum of two years' travel industry experience, working closely with airlines and/or hotels.
  • Strong English fluency, with multilingual skills a plus (French, Mandarin, Japanese).
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office computer skills, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Result-driven with a problem-solving mindset, previous contract negotiation experience, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and understand diverse cultures abroad, multitask, and work well under strict deadlines and fast-paced environments.
