Merchandise Planner Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to join a renowned fashion brand as a Merchandise Planner for 3-6 months with the possibility of extending or transitioning to a permanent role.

The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for coordinating all merchandise-related areas of the brand, ensuring optimal stock levels in stores and the 3PL Warehouse to maximise sales. Key responsibilities include managing daily stock functions, supporting analysis and reporting of sales and stock performance, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, streamlining new and existing procedures and systems, and proactively resolving issues and taking ownership of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
  • Five or more years' experience allocating within a retail environment is required.
  • Proficient to intermediate Excel skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical and practical skills are necessary.
  • AP21 (Apparel 21) proficiency is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
