Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support clients in activities, employment, home support, and community outings.
  • Follow service plans, medication policies, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor client well-being; report concerns to the Manager.
  • Provide individualized training and document support provided.
  • Act as key worker; prepare progress notes.
  • Contribute to team meetings and policy reviews.
  • Notify of shift changes with notice and adhere to conduct policies.

Essential Criteria:

  • Age 25-35.
  • Experience in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Preferably Muslim with an Arab background.
  • Available for morning and afternoon pickups.

Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Working with Children Check and Police Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • Completed NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module (available online).
