About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Sous Chef to join our esteemed team at Yugen Tea Bar. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to push boundaries, innovate our pastry menus, and inspire a talented team.

As a key player in our kitchen, you will be responsible for crafting and presenting a variety of exquisite pastries and desserts that align with our high standards of quality and creativity. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in a cutting-edge environment and contribute to an unforgettable culinary experience for our guests.

About You

You'll be part of a dynamic team with extensive industry experience, ranging from world-renowned bakeries and patisseries to Michelin-starred restaurants. You will bring:

  • At least 4 years of experience in fine dining or high-end patisserie, with 2 years in a senior or leadership pastry role.
  • A deep appreciation for the art and beauty of patisserie.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of guiding and mentoring a diverse pastry team.
  • A creative mindset and the ability to turn innovative ideas into reality on the plate.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for making items from scratch and a thirst for continuous learning.
  • A commitment to Food Safety & Hygiene best practices.
