Geology Career Starter

We're looking for a recent graduate or junior engineer to kickstart their career in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects across Australia, including national-scale transport infrastructure and renewable energy.

  • This role involves working under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists, and sub-consultants at a national level.
  • Key responsibilities include implementing company and project-specific health and safety requirements, undertaking geotechnical fieldwork tasks, and building strong client relationships.
  • A degree in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering is required, along with strong communication skills in written and spoken English, a passion for fieldwork, and a commitment to health and safety.
  • As a junior engineer, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow within the industry, developing your skills and expertise.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with Australian working rights or a clear pathway to obtaining them.
