Geotechnical Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in delivering exceptional geotechnical services across diverse infrastructure, renewable, and development projects. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and project teams to provide technical expertise, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and overseeing geotechnical aspects as part of a project team, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Scoping and delivering geotechnical projects or components, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Planning and supervising site investigations, including borehole drilling, in-situ testing, sampling, and monitoring.
  • Performing geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction assessment, and seismic response.
  • Designing foundations (shallow and deep), earth retaining structures, ground improvement solutions, and pavements.
  • Preparing high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies, design documents, and specifications.
  • Identifying geotechnical risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Nurturing client relationships, attending meetings, and providing geotechnical advice and presentations.
  • Mentoring and training junior graduate/early career geotechnical engineers and technicians.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology, or a closely related field (Master's degree preferred) and approximately 5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience. Chartered or Professional Engineer status (or eligibility) is highly desirable.
