Job Opportunity: Supportive and Palliative Care SpecialistOverview:The role of the Supportive and Palliative Care Specialist is a critical position within the healthcare system, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Support the education and training of junior medical staff and students.
Requirements:
  • Possess or be eligible for registration with the relevant health practitioner regulatory agency.
  • Hold a current driver's license class C or higher.
  • Hold a fellowship of a relevant professional organization or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge in supportive and palliative care, including experience in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice.
  • Demonstrate high-level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
