Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to join our organization.

  • About the Role:
  • The procurement specialist will be responsible for preparing and reviewing procurement documents, including approval documents, requests for quotes, evaluation reports, work orders, and purchase orders.
  • This role involves leading and managing procurement processes for ICT assets, systems integration providers, and services consulting.
  • The successful candidate will develop and manage supplier contracts, resolving problems using vendor and procurement management expertise.
  • This position requires conducting ICT vendor management, adhering to government procurement legislation and organizational policies.
  • The procurement specialist will prepare procurement documentation, undertake sourcing strategies, and support evaluation and client contract negotiations.
  • Analyzing cloud spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost optimization strategies is also key responsibilities of this role.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders is essential in this position.
  • A good understanding of the commercial IT environment is required.
  • Maintaining a minimum NV1 security clearance and satisfying a Nuclear Mindset Suitability Assessment (NMSA) is necessary for this role.
