The Role

You will be responsible for managing effective and compliant business-as-usual (BAU) technology and digital procurements for goods and services such as hardware, software, licenses, and information and communication technology (ICT) contractor personnel.

  • Work with technology managers and senior executive leaders to deliver contract management and procurement solutions, ensuring business objectives are met and value for money is achieved.
  • Provide advice and guidance on procurement and contract management strategy, preparing and finalizing approval documentation, preparing and finalizing tender and contract documentation.
  • Assess and report on procurement and probity risks, manage tender evaluations, and drive project delivery within tight timeframes.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure their business needs are understood and stakeholders are kept informed on the progress of their projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in managing end-to-end ICT procurements in a Commonwealth Government environment, as well as an active Baseline security clearance.

You will also have:

  • Experience using government panels like the Digital Transformation Agency Marketplace, Software Marketplace, and Hardware Marketplace.
  • A proven track record in the interpretation and application of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules framework, and the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability legislation.
  • Ability to navigate complex technology landscapes, execute procurement strategies, and deliver optimal outcomes for business areas.
  • Excellent communication skills crucial for simplifying complex concepts and influencing decision-makers.
  • Experience in resolving complex client and stakeholder queries.
