Procurement Expert Opportunity

Our client is seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to manage ICT-related procurements and provide high-level advice on procurement matters across the Information Services Division.

This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with 1 x 12-month extension, located at our client's ACT office with hybrid working arrangements (2 days from home).

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end ICT procurement processes, including software renewals and ICT labour hire.
  • Conduct procurement activities using best practices and sound judgment.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks to meet organisational obligations and optimise business outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in Government procurement.
  • Sound knowledge and application of procurement frameworks including PGPA Act and CPR.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (PSP40616).
  • Understanding of the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) guidelines and sourcing through DTA portals.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Baseline security clearance.
