Executive Leader for Specialist Legal Programs

We are seeking an exceptional executive leader to drive strategic growth and innovation across our Specialist Legal Programs, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and scalable services for older people, self-represented litigants, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Drive program growth, improve outcomes, and foster partnerships with health, aged care, courts, tribunals, and regulators.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of managers and lawyers, promoting a safe, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the organization's broader strategic agenda as a member of the executive leadership team.

This is a key executive leadership role that combines strategy, people leadership, and sector impact. If you have a proven track record in public interest, civil justice, elder law, or community legal practice, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:
  • A law degree and eligibility to practise in Australia (preferred).
  • 5+ years post-admission experience, ideally in public interest, civil justice, elder law, or community legal practice.
  • Proven leadership in program design, service delivery, evaluation, and growth.
  • Experience collaborating with courts, regulators, funders, and community partners.
  • Strong track record managing diverse teams, budgets, and funding arrangements.
