Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer

This position involves providing excellent financial management support to the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
  • Understand how the Accounts Receivable functions impact other departments and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of banking and allocation processes.
  • Generate invoices and account statements.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and consistency across financial records.
  • Handle general data input and maintain all accounts receivable files and records.
  • Produce accurate monthly financial reports.
  • Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries.
  • Assist in general financial management and analysis.
  • Liaise with internal staff and external customers to address concerns or discrepancies.
  • Support automation processes and manually receipt payments as needed.
  • Manage outstanding debtors.
  • Provide relief and assistance with other finance department functions as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as Accounts Receivable Officer in a high-volume function.
  • High proficiency in data entry.
  • Understanding of the full Accounts Receivable process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office suite and relevant Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Basic accounting principles and GST treatments understanding.
  • Reconciling General Ledger Accounts experience.
  • Working with Children check clearance.
  • National Police Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
