As a key member of the educational team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare professionals.

The Clinical Facilitator - Simulation position is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver simulation-based education events. These events aim to equip clinicians with contemporary patient-focused services, grounded in evidence-based practices.

This role involves working closely with clinicians and educators to ensure that education services are accessible across the organization. The initial work allocation is within Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Service (NMERS). Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing on-site simulation provision
  • Participating in formal programs with a simulation component
  • Maintaining and providing technical support for simulation resources

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Relevant experience and contemporary knowledge relevant to this role
  • Skills and knowledge in the utilization of simulation-based technology and education to facilitate clinical training
  • An advanced level of interpersonal and written communication skills to enable accurate, complete, and timely information transfer
  • The ability to work effectively within both clinical and education teams to meet service imperatives within designated timeframes and resource allocations

**Mandatory Requirements:**

You must be vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16 and COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
