About the Role

The State Government Of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled Practice Management Systems Lead to join our Corporate Services branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical management and day-to-day administration of our practice management systems (Elite 3 E and Cosine).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management and administration of our Practice Management System (Elite 3 E and Cosine).
  • Ensure the system's stability, reliability, and performance from both a technical and business perspective.
  • Provide high-quality and responsive support, advice, training, and technical expertise to all staff.
  • Lead technical projects related to the Practice Management System (Elite 3 E).
  • Manage or support the implementation of additional systems and applications.
  • Proactively liaise with all colleagues to ensure service queries are resolved effectively.
  • Liaise with IT in implementing system changes or updates.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting the day-to-day operations of Cosine and Elite.
  • Ensure month-end and year-end close is actioned in a timely manner.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and prepare advice for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in IT.
  • 3-5 years business experience within a practice management system or business systems function.
  • Track record of working in system-focused positions.
  • Experience with a variety of organisation-wide systems.
  • Knowledge of financial processes related to billing and accounts receivable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Technical reporting skills using Power BI and SQL would be advantageous.
