Restructuring Senior Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Restructuring Senior Manager to join our team at Lead Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insolvency and restructuring, with the ability to manage complex cases and lead a team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver restructuring and insolvency strategies for clients, working closely with the engagement team and managing multiple workstreams.
- Assist clients in analysing and understanding the performance and position of their business, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Manage day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication both written and verbal.
- Contribute to advisory, informal engagements, including independent business reviews and informal turnaround assignments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other written correspondence, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare estimated outcome positions for legal restructuring matters, demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Be a key member involved in various business development initiatives, driving growth and innovation within the team.
- Contribute to the learning and development of the team through coaching and mentoring, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging practices, adapting strategies accordingly to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience managing insolvency and restructuring cases, with a strong track record of success.
- Tertiary qualifications in an accounting or finance-related field, with a professional certification such as CA or equivalent.
- ARITA qualification desirable, with a strong understanding of insolvency and restructuring principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to conduct financial analysis and prepare reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting and business/commercial principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
