Extracting Earth Resources Specialist

Mining engineering is a vital discipline that combines principles of geology, mechanics and mathematics to extract valuable resources from the earth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high-quality mining engineering standards and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Lead high-performing teams to drive strategic initiatives and optimize performance.
- Cultivate positive relationships with site teams and engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Manage detailed planning and scheduling to maximize production and contribute to strategic growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Possess NSW Mining Engineering Manager Certificate or equivalent, or obtain one within 6 months.
- Hold 10+ years of mining experience, including 3 years in underground longwall mining and 5+ years in operational management and supervisory roles.
- Tertiary qualification in mining engineering or related discipline is desirable.
- Australian driver's license is also required.
