Support Worker Opportunity

This part-time role involves delivering consistent, trauma-informed and strengths-based care to clients with complex behavioural, physical and health-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level personal care services: showering, continence care, dressing and mobility support
  • Support clients exhibiting physical aggression and challenging behaviours
  • Administer medication and oversee complex healthcare routines
  • Support clients with dual diagnoses (physical disability and mental health)
  • Implement restrictive practice strategies in line with behaviour support plans
  • Assist with domestic duties: cleaning, meal preparation and laundry
  • Maintain accurate daily records and incident reporting

About You:
  • Experience of supporting clients with severe behavioural and health complexities
  • Skilled in de-escalation and safe response techniques for managing physical aggression
  • Knowledge of restrictive practices and positive behaviour support methodologies
  • Calm, confident and adaptable when responding to unpredictable situations
  • Flexible, reliable and committed to ongoing learning and development
