Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Product Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the strategic vision for our products, driven by our overall mission and goals.

This role involves leading other product professionals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing the lifecycle management of our software products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating clear and precise customer-focused requirements and leading by example with hands-on execution of product strategies.

The selected candidate will be an expert in market trends, customer needs, and business goals, defining and refining product roadmaps that align with our company's objectives. Additionally, they will conduct market research, gather feedback from customers, and inform product decisions.

A key responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business goals to define and refine the product roadmap. The chosen candidate will also work closely with stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

Other responsibilities include conducting customer interviews, surveys, and market research, gathering feedback and insights that inform product decisions. The successful candidate will also define and prioritize product requirements to guide the engineering process, oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, and plan and execute product launches with Product Marketing.

The ideal candidate will analyze data and metrics to measure product performance and inform data-driven decisions. Furthermore, they will foster a culture of knowledge sharing and maintain product design documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in product management in modern software or product-led organizations
  • Experience operating with Agile methodologies to manage product development and collaborate with engineering teams
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform product decisions and identify opportunities
  • Ability to prioritize features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
  • Track record of building and executing a product roadmap and strategy aligned with customer needs and company goals
