Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Supply and Merchandising Planner to join our team. This critical role ensures product availability and inventory health across diverse categories.

  • This position requires developing accurate demand forecasts using sales data, promotional plans, and seasonal strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will translate forecasts into supply plans that balance inventory targets, service levels, and timelines.
  • Key responsibilities include collaborating with purchasing coordinators and suppliers to manage MOQs, resolve supply issues, and optimise stock flow.
  • The successful candidate will monitor inbound freight, supplier lead times, and stock levels to ensure product availability.
  • They will lead merchandise planning activities including seasonal buys, range reviews, and lifecycle tracking.
  • A key performance indicator is reporting on metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and stock turns.
  • The individual will partner with stakeholders across Merchandising, Logistics, Finance, IT, and Sales to drive alignment.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, we require:

  • 5+ years' experience in supply chain, demand planning, or merchandise planning roles.
  • Strong expertise in forecasting, inventory planning, and supplier coordination.
  • Experience with ERP systems, forecasting tools, and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organised, analytical, and solutions-focused, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (additional certifications desirable).
